About the event
Come join us for introspection and journaling!
We would like to focus on how to live a healthier life through the process of self reflection and letting go. Right now, even many medical studies show that stress is a leading factor in heart disease, digestive issues, and depression. Unknowingly, we add more thoughts to our mind daily, which cause our bodies to feel heavy and ill. These thoughts come from our false minds; when we clear out these thoughts and find our true, authentic selves, naturally our physical and mental health will improve. For this event, we will take time to reflect and become conscious of our current thoughts through writing. We will also take time to start releasing that mind through a guided meditation, and conclude with writing out what we are grateful for. Doing this as a group is very powerful, hope you can join us!
This will be a virtual event, hosted by Main Line Meditation through Zoom.
Agenda:
- Quick greeting and introduction of reading for the journaling topic
- Explanation of the human mind
- Journaling to find and reflect on the thoughts that cause us to become stressed and ill
- Brief meditation to release those thoughts
- Gratitude journaling
What you will need: -A pen -Notebook, journal, or scrap paper for writing
